This project consists of the engineering and design of a new telecommunications and colocation facility. The scope includes the deployment of telecommunications equipment racks, DC power distribution systems, battery backup infrastructure, HVAC systems, cable tray and fiber management systems, electrical distribution equipment, fire suppression modifications, and secure colocation space.
The facility incorporates raised flooring and hot aisle/cold aisle configurations to support high-density telecom operations while allowing for future expansion of power and battery systems. Working with the internal groups at WT Group AEC, we completed the associated structural, mechanical, and electrical system designs. The unmanned facility is intended to support telecommunications operations and will be periodically maintained by provider personnel.
